Old Business q Send Wanda recipes for next newsletter q Mike Nash to meet with Eileen Hennesy to review conservation easement to see if all properties can go into the easement Conversation: Jeff D. stated that the launch is not part of the same watershed as the LZ and will not be able to be part of easement. Dan Shell volunteered to contact Tn Land Trust to discuss both Henson's and Whitwell to try to have both included in the Conservation Easement q Clark sent 2 t-shirts to Steve Johnson q James Anderson laminated info on launch sites – posted at Henson's and will post at Whitwell by next meeting q Dan Shell will f/u with 4 NC pilots that paid $1.00 and flew for 4 days. Discussion about sending a letter for $100.00 fine and suspension of flying privileges or send yearly membership immediately. Alli motions to send letter; Olli 2nds. All in favor q Mike Nash got 3 t-shirts and soap basket to give his brother in gratitude for making the great Hang Gliding signs for the TTT q Dan Shell has Team Challenge ad in USHPA magazine in current Jan 07 edition. Also is posted on the TTT website. Buddy will check to see if it is on the USHPA website. q Tom and Wanda sent 2 t-shirts to Steve Larson for his volunteer work at our sites while Steve was visiting. A big thanks or his volunteer efforts to maintain our sites. q Clark got Windsocks for 2007. Tom Prouhet has 2 tyvek ones to use until new ones are put up q USHPA needs Whitwell launch deed and Whitwell owners. Kathy Lee will get to USHPA by end of February q James will put a solicitation block on TTT phone q TTT Parachute clinic at Sequatchie HS 2/17 and 2/18 at 8:30 CST by Betty Pfieffer $55.00 for workshop q Bill Priday lawsuit is in legal discovery. TTT attorney has filed a motion to dismiss. Plaintiffs attorney has entered into a mutual agreement not to pursue until judge makes ruling on TTT motion to dismiss. Original waiver is in a safety deposit box. q Tom Prouhet liability TTT may have with tandem pilots. Discussion: Current by-laws state that pilot must be TTT member, passenger signs a TTT waiver, tandem pilot must be approved by BOD, and tandem pilot must be a current USHPA instructor. We need to post this information on the TTT waiver, post on membership boxes, and add to our TTT website. Currently only Clark Harlow is approved. It is the responsibility of the tandem pilot to arrange with the TTT BOD for prior approval. Kathy Lee will add the tandem rules to the TTT waivers and post in laminate at the sign-up boxes. Buddy Cutts will add to the website, and Kathy will bring to next meeting for BOD approval. The decision to form a Tandem and Instructor Committee comprised of Clark Harlow, Jeff Dodgen, Olli Gregory and Mike Merickel

Committee Reportsq Treasurer – Jan checkbook balance $4656.85 CD Land fund - $42,547.50 Taxes due – approx $1000.00 Electric - $106.00 Water- $125.00 need to determine if water leak Discussion: Mike Merickel began a discussion to change our fiscal year to March 31 to help cash flow. Clark does not feel it necessary. q Social – Poling will do a write-up for Mayhem and post on TTT website early. Kathy will assist with food for Mayhem q Awards – Eric will work on 2006 TTT of the Year award. He will also work on Flight of the Year award for 2006 – won by Steve Lee q Newsletter – please send articles to Tony Fabriszak
